Privacy Policy
Effective date:
This policy describes how Nagori, a PS1, Game Boy Advance and GameCube emulator for iPhone and iPad (the “App”), and this website, nagori.games, handle your data. The short version: we do not collect personal data, we run no analytics, and we show no ads.
Data stored on your device only
The following never leaves your device and is never accessible to us:
- Game files you import: PS1 and GameCube disc images, GBA game files;
- Memory card and in-game saves, save states, resume points, and cheat codes;
- Screenshots the App takes to use as game covers, and downloaded artwork;
- App settings and controller bindings.
The App can read only the files you explicitly pick in the system file picker or open with the App from another app. Deleting the App deletes all of this data.
Purchases (RevenueCat)
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, a subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier and your purchase receipt data in order to validate and manage your subscription. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information: the App has no accounts and never asks who you are. See theRevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Payment details (cards, Apple ID) are handled entirely by Apple; the App never sees them.
Game artwork
To download box art and library banners, the App sends the title of a game (derived from the file name you imported) and its console type (PS1, GBA or GameCube) to our artwork server (emulator.rezka42.com). The server looks the image up in public game-artwork databases and returns it. If our server is unreachable, the App may contact SteamGridDB directly as a fallback.
No personal information or device identifiers are attached to these requests. As with any internet request, your IP address is visible to the server that answers it; we do not use it to identify or track you. Apart from the subscription check described above, the App makes no network requests until you import a game or send feedback.
Feedback you send
You can send us feedback from the App’s settings, from the pause menu, or when a game fails to start. Nothing is sent until you tap Send. A message goes to our server (emulator.rezka42.com) with:
- your message, and a contact address only if you type one in;
- the App version, your device model, iOS version, and language;
- for a report about a game: its console, file name, settings, and number of discs, the error if it failed to start, and the name of your game controller;
- a technical log of the error, when there is one.
We do not store your IP address with feedback. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems, and we delete it on request.
This website
nagori.games uses no cookies, analytics, trackers, or third-party scripts; its fonts, images, and videos are served from our own server. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs (IP address, the page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them after 14 days. Links to the App Store take you to Apple, whose privacy policy applies there.
What we do not do
- No analytics or telemetry;
- No advertising or ad identifiers;
- No tracking across apps or websites;
- No accounts or personal profiles;
- No access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.
Children
The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
